Do you remember our expedition to the Jorat forest in July 2023?
We were particularly interested in the Jorat forest because of the care taken to preserve and develop it as a biodiversity hotspot in the canton of Vaud.
It’s now official: after 20 years of work, 400 hectares have been protected and will be able to evolve at their own pace, as reported in the recent RTS coverage:
Attention hikers: it is now forbidden to leave the paths or pick mushrooms. Also, be careful with your dogs, which cannot be kept without a lead.
