On 13 July 2023, a small team from GenoRobotics visited the Jorat forest to test in vivo extraction. The Jorat forest has had high protection status for some years now, thanks to its wild restoration without human intervention. In order to monitor its evolution, the Lausanne Botanical Garden is surveying the forest and the flora present, and will repeat this process once a decade.
By collaborating with the botanical garden, we have benefited from the identification expertise of Patrice Descombes, who will enable us to validate around 60 samples.
At the end of the day, we had a chance to test the equipment, identify any shortcomings in energy resources and test the Reblochon! But the adventure isn’t over yet, as our brave adventurers still have a few hours of identification to do in the lab.
